Privacy Policy — Tap Sopo

Tap Sopo ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Tap Sopo is currently in early release, and this policy may be updated as the product evolves.

1. Information we collect

Account information — name, email, and the slug you choose.
Profile content — the bio, category, location, photos, and links you publish.
Activity data — taps, check-ins, follows, and other Grid interactions.
Billing information — processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Device and log data — IP address, browser, and basic analytics for security and reliability.

2. How we use information

To operate your profile, your Grid, and the directory.
To process subscriptions, NFC fulfillment, and account communications.
To improve discovery, recommendations, and community features.
To prevent fraud, abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. What we share

Profile content you publish (name, slug, bio, category, location) is public by design. We share data only with service providers that help us run Tap Sopo (Stripe for payments, Supabase/Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for transactional email). We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your choices

Edit or delete your profile at any time from your dashboard.
Cancel your subscription from Billing — your account drops back to Free.
Email privacy@tapsopo.com to request a data export or full account deletion.

5. Children

Tap Sopo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
